What I collect, and what I do not

I am Yeo Wen Da, the operator of yeowenda.com, based in Singapore. This policy explains how I handle personal data when you visit the site or contact me. I aim to collect only information needed for a clear, stated purpose and to handle it in line with applicable Singapore data-protection requirements, including the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).

What the site collects today

The public site is static. It does not run a contact form, waitlist, or questionnaire that stores your details on a server I control. It does not set advertising cookies or third-party behavioural analytics today.

Hosting and delivery may produce ordinary server or CDN logs (for example IP address, browser or device details, time, and page requested) to deliver, maintain and protect the site. I do not use those logs to build marketing profiles.

What I collect when you email me

If you write to yeowenda@gmail.com, I receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. I use that only to reply and to keep a short record of the conversation. Please share only what is needed for your enquiry.

Do not send confidential client data, identification documents, or another person's personal information in a first message. If a conversation needs that, we will agree a safer channel first.

If you ask about a 紫微斗数 reading

Joining or browsing this site does not collect birth data. If you later ask for a reading by email, I may need birth date, birth time if known, and birth place (and sometimes a preferred name). That is sensitive personal information. I will use it only to prepare and deliver the reading and to follow up if we agree to. I do not sell it, share it for marketing, or post chart details publicly without your clear ask.

How I use information

I will explain materially different purposes before using your information for them and obtain fresh consent where required. I do not sell or rent your personal data, and I do not give it to other businesses for their own marketing.

Sharing and service providers

Email is delivered through my email provider. The site is hosted so it can be served publicly (currently Cloudflare Pages, or whichever host is named if that changes). Those providers process data under their own terms so the site and mail can run. Some processing may occur outside Singapore; where personal data is transferred overseas, I will take steps required under the PDPA to provide comparable protection, including contractual safeguards where applicable.

I may also disclose information where required or permitted by law.

Security and retention

I take reasonable steps to protect personal data against unauthorised access, use, disclosure, alteration and loss. No online service is completely secure.

I keep email and reading notes only while needed for the conversation, engagement, or a short archive if you may return. Say if you want a shorter retention. Backup copies may remain until routine replacement. Consent or legal records may be kept where required to honour choices or meet the law.

Your requests

Email yeowenda@gmail.com to ask what I hold about you, to correct it, to withdraw consent for a particular use, to request deletion where information is no longer needed, or to raise a complaint. I may ask for reasonable identity verification. I will respond within applicable legal timeframes and explain any limitation.

Children

This site is not aimed at children. Do not send me a minor's birth data for a reading without a parent or guardian making the request.

Updates

I will revise this page when collection practices change (for example a live form, waitlist, newsletter tool, analytics, or payment flow). The date above will change when I do. Fresh consent will be sought where required. Changes to this policy do not automatically authorise new uses of previously collected data.
